Tips on how to love your best life


I'm sure there are so many tips out there, and I know my list of tips of living your best possible life could go on and on, but I just wanted to share with you my top 5 from what has helped me.

PUT YOURSELF FIRST
This would be one of my most important tips. If you don't, you're going to have no energy, you'll be unhappy and you'll be tired. Sure...there may be people you need to take care of in life but you will certainly always be number one. Keep yourself fed and well rested. think about what YOU want and need. Stop thinking about what makes everyone else happy, that's not healthy. You're worth much more.
So, what makes you happy?

LEARN TO SAY NO
Omg! The amount of times I was a 'yes' girl. No, stop!
This is like putting yourself first, because if you constantly say yes to people, you will only just run yourself down. Sure, it feels good to help people out and I'm not saying stop doing so, but limit yourself on the yes and do more no. Don't even apologise for it, you're human just like the rest of us. You're allowed to say no and have a break. Think about what you want.

DANCE A LITTLE
Let loose. Dance as if nobody is watching, maybe not literally, or if that's what you want then go for it. What I mean is don't be so serious all the time. Let your hair down and have some fun. Catch up with your mates that you keep meaning to do, go on a hike if it's something you keep putting off. Just do it because I hate to break to you, you're not getting any younger and one day you may regret not doing more with your time, and if you don't have the time, make the time.

SELF LOVE
Learn to love yourself. Not just about self love but it's also about looking after yourself.
Even when you're feeling tired, take the time to pamper yourself, whether that's a hot shower or bath, nails painted, hair washed, skincare followed by face mask, or sat reading a good book, catching up on a TV series, watching a film. This is so important taking the time out for you. Remember the first tip? Put yourself first.


LIVE IN THE PRESENT
You need to stop thinking about tomorrow or yesterday. Living in the present is so important.
Living today like there is no tomorrow is my favourite tip, you should never waste your day worrying. I know, much easier said than done, right?
Doing this you just won't get much done, what you want done or what needs to be done. Then worrying will just get you all anxious, and that is not the best feeling.
You need to try and let go of the past and stop waiting for the future, start living your life, today!
