I don't know about you but I love watching other Youtubers makeup videos, however I can never afford all this high end makeup. I have a ton of drugstore makeup in my makeup trolley and they work just as well as high end, trust me! I have been using drugstore makeup for many years and I wanted to share with you my favourites. Everybody's skin is different, for example if a foundation doesn't sit on your skin well, have you done the correct skincare beforehand or is your skin oily? Just take that into consideration incase you go buying these products and you may be a bit disappointed, which hopefully, you won't.
This foundation is a 6 in 1:
- Primes
- Conceals
- Covers
- Smooths
- Protects
- Mattifies
I like to wear this in the Winter as I find for me personally, it's more of a heavy coverage. It doesn't have that caked on look that I find some foundations do and feels good on my skin.
This is practically my everyday foundation. I always start off light then slowly build up the coverage, and absolutely love to wear this in the Spring and Summer and it gives off a light coverage and shows my freckles through. I also love that it gives off a radiant glow, I have been using this foundation for a long, long time and have never turned back.
With this product I find that it is best to slowly build it up rather than going straight in otherwise you may look a little orange, however it gives off that perfect sun kissed look and a natural glow.
Oh my! Where do I begin? I posted about this in my Spring Makeup post and I absolutely adore this palette. It gives off the perfect Spring and Summer shades and I near enough use this almost everyday to create a smokey eye.
As you can see I have had this product for a while as the name has been rubbed off, but after applying my foundation I find this to be the perfect coverage for me, I normally get the shade 'fair' but the website isn't showing it at the moment.
I recommend this product to anyone who wears a cateye. This doesn't rub off like other eyeliners I've used in the past. I go to my boyfriends, have an hours nap and it's still in place when I wake up, that's how good it is.
Not much to say about this apart from if you are after voluminous lashes, this mascara is for you.
If you are after a natural brow on fleek then this product is for you. Literally my favourite eyebrow pencil, for me it lasts all day and doesn't make my eyebrows look too bold, more of a subtle look.
